Catching Up – 2.15.10

Random thoughts on another snowy Indiana day……

  • Snow is beautiful to me the first snow of the year for about 13 minutes. After that, I am pretty much over it.
  • Pitchers have reported for spring training. I am giddy. Cardinals have made some interesting moves this offseason. We shall see….
  • I am still not over the Colts loss in the Super Bowl. I have not watched ESPN or listen to sports radio since that game. I am bummed.
  • I recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary at MPCC. Absolutely loving it. God is building a very special team here. STOKED!
  • We are doing the song “Top Of My Lungs” this coming weekend. I love that song. Incredible word picture of worship.
  • Our pastor, Chris Philbeck, just started a new series called “A New Command,” this past weekend. Dealing with loving one another and relationships. It’s going to be awesome.
  • I love my family. Wow, what a blessing!
  • I also love my friends. I am the most blessed man in the world!

If you read my blog you know that I absolutely love my wife, Kim. She totally rocks my world. She will be celebrating a birthday this week. Happy Birthday Kim! I love you Babe!!

This is also one of my favorite pictures of Kim. Yep, smokin’. 🙂

I love so many things about her. I guess it’s like a million little things that when added up means that she is the perfect woman for me. God has given me such a special gift in her and I am grateful for that and for having her in my life. I guess the best way to describe it is this: I simply love, loving her.

Have an awesome day, friends.

I totally agree about the Colts loss. I’m over it, really I am, ok, I’m not but I’m telling myself I am! I have tried avoiding all sports reports and have pretty much been successful except for the beginning of a report on WIBC. Why would a local station begin a sports report 4 days after a Super Bowl loss with a report on a Saint’s celebration? I didn’t get it, but what I did get was the off button!
