Worship Matters: Christmas Eve 2010
Christmas is a time for celebration, reflection and giving thanks to God for the fact that HE provided a Savior, for all the world. That very first silent night, so long ago, God provided the perfect gift to mankind, in the form of a baby, named Jesus Christ.
I love Christmas, and especially Christmas Eve.
On Friday, December 24, 2010, Mount Pleasant Christian Church will host “Candles & Carols” at 6pm, 8pm & 11pm. I hope that you will join us for one of these very special services where we will walk through the Biblical account of the birth of Christ and celebrate at the manger in Bethlehem.
At 6pm there will be special children’s programming in Bibleopolis as well as a Children’s Story in the service with Chris Franklin, our Children’s Pastor.
The service will involve lots of special music. We will sing carols of the season by candlelight and pause to reflect with The Lord’s Supper as well as the traditional “Silent Night” candle lighting service. It will be a beautiful way to celebrate Christmas with your family and I hope that you will join us!
