MPCC Easter Recap 2011

Easter 2011 at Mount Pleasant Christian Church - Greenwood, IN

This past weekend was Easter, one of my favorite days of the year. It’s a day that makes all the difference for us! We celebrate the event that changed all of human history…..FOREVER!

We had a celebration at MPCC that I will never forget. Through 6 services we had the chance to lead 5,872 people in worship and, most importantly, share The Gospel with them. It was incredible!

I am so grateful for each and every member of our team. It was a very long weekend and not in a single moment, did I ever hear one of them complain. They came ready to lead this congregation and thousands of visitors in worship. They were passionate, expressive and genuine. They were on time. They were phenomenal. Both our Worship Center and Video Venue teams did outstanding jobs this weekend. The Video Venue service, under the leadership of Patrick Cole, saw record numbers as well. Incredible!

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every member of our team, both on the music side and the programming side. This was such an incredible experience! Thank you so much for being a part of this very special celebration. You are loved and valued and we are grateful to have you on the team!

I also want to thank those who showed up first thing Monday morning to help us tear down the stage. THANK YOU! What a blessing.

I sit here today, so grateful for and humbled by the resurrection of Jesus. I also am grateful and humbled by the opportunity to serve beside such an excellent team!
