An Update On My Parents :: Prayers Requested

So many have asked for an update on Mom & Dad. Thank you so much for your prayerful support. Our entire family is so very grateful for your prayers. Here is the latest update that we have…..

Mom started chemotherapy on Monday and had a port installed on Wednesday. Her diagnosis is multiple myeloma. She will be getting chemotherapy treatments twice a week (with a few off weeks) for a while.

Dad has been diagnosed with low grade lymphoma. They also found multiple spots in both lungs and on his liver as well. He had biopsies on both areas yesterday to see what these spots are (lymphoma or something else). He was diagnosed with CLL (chronic lymphoid leukemia) about 18 months ago. Our prayer is that this is what the additional spots are and not an additional form of cancer. We should have preliminary results back sometime today.

We are so blessed, as a family, for the godly heritage that our parents are passing down to us. They have been incredible examples of faithfulness throughout their lives. We all love them dearly and are so proud of both of them.

Again, we are grateful for your prayers. We will keep you posted.
